    ISO is all that changes from shot to shot, and that depends on the subject bird. the above sets me up for white birds, +/-45 degrees from straight down sun. dark birds i just add 1, 2 or 3 clicks, depending on how dark. shooting more off sun does require further consideration. otherwise, that's it! that's the whole formula.
