    That, combined with the fairly slow speed (f/10), or even with a 0.63x reducer, will force exposures many times longer than what an Alt / Az mount will allow, unless you throw it on a Wedge. For scale, most deep sky (galaxies, nebulas) astrophotography is done with a focal length in the 400-700mm range, and focal ratios of f/7 down to about f/2.
