ISO 800 exhibits quite visible noise, loss of fine detail and colour desaturation, and ISO 1600 is even noisier, although still usable for small prints. Noise

Presumably a few folks are using FZ28 for astrophotography as DSS supports the camera. Alan Posted March 6, 2009 Posted Thanks John, Alan Alan, that's correct. Prime focus, means you are using the telescope as a telephoto camera lens. Will call FLO when I get the Hyperion. Thanks John. Tony.. NigelM

But George is also a Fujifilm GFX user, and naturally, he gave his camera a try at deep-sky imaging. The picture below is very impressive, as it consists of a single exposure of two beautiful nebulae, M8 and M20. The 50 megapixels allowed George to crop quite a lot, while retaining a lot of details.

Sony 28mm F2 for Astrophotography?: Astrophotography …

    https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/3856043
Any good alternatives to Rokinon lenses for astrophotography? I bought a 14mm 2.8 and they both suffered from decentering issues - left side was always more in focus than the right side. I find both the 14mm 2.8 and the 24mm 1.4 to be huge and unusable for anything but tripod usage so looking for something I can use to occasionally shoot some ...

In the following post, I’ll share my experiences using 2 astonishingly affordable camera lenses for astrophotography. I shoot with both full-frame and APS-C sized sensor Canon DSLR’s, so the lenses are both made by Canon. The Canon EF 50mm F/1.8 STM, and the Rokinon 14mm F/2.8 wide-angle lens. It’s not possible for me to recommend a ...
