The Grip - It Starts with the Hands - Be A Better Hitter

    https://www.beabetterhitter.com/the-grip-it-starts-with-the-hands/
A good grip is one where the handle of the bat is held primarily in the fingers of the hand. To do this, lay the handle of the bat across the lower base of the fingers of each hand. Then, simply close your hands around the handle. Do not squeeze the bat. Hold it lightly in your fingers. Pretend as though you are holding a small bird in your hands.

hello, just got an em1iii. Previously using em5 for which I had a half case and a simple leather wrist strap. The em1 has a bit more bulk and weight and feel that the thin wrist strap isn’t the right option. I have found I don’t really like the neck straps as I find them limiting and that the camera bounce gets annoying while walking.

How the Hands REALLY work in the swing - Baseball …

A traditional bat grip has two main phases I’d like to discuss here. First, the positions of the knuckles of both hands relative to each other. Second, the amount of extension in the bottom hand specifically while holding the bat in the hitter’s stance. ... The most common pro baseball bat grip, this grip eliminates some of the wrist ...

It's quite a bit more elaborate than first appearances show: Probably takes quite a bit of hand shaping to get each of these made. And probably a lot of shaving and sanding by the owner, too. The two models in stock are around $60 (the one with carbon) and $30 (all-wood). Strangely enough, no weights listed.

Proper wrist action in swing - Baseball Fever - Forums

We teach powerful Ulnar flexion of the wrists and static back side forearm pronation powered by a combination of extensor muscles way up in the forearms. The range of motion is about 30 degrees, not much until you calculate for bat length. We ask for 1/3rd shortening length (range of motion) in wrist rotation for oppo drives.

Bat Speed -- Baseball Hitting Forum

    http://batspeed.com/messageboard/4139.html
The elbow should rotate in an arc at the batter's side and allow the spine to stay straight during rotation. The key to solving this problem is to take a grip with a much wider angle between the wrist and DO NOT grip the bat tight with the top hand. The top hand must be loose enough to allow it to turn on the bat as the angle between the wrist ...

Hitting Mechanics: The Finger Grip & Gripping the Bat

    https://www.softball-spot.com/hitting-mechanics-finger-grip/2719/
First, start with your left hand and you want to take the bat and lay it across your palm. The knob of the bat should be up the upper corner of the palm of the hand. Now, wrap your fingers around the bat at an angle. Notice, after the fingers are wrapped, now turn the bat and form a V at the top with the thumb and pointing finger.
