    The f2.8 will be a big help vs your two zoom lenses. Shooting at f2.8 gives you 2 full stops over f5.6. In other words, shooting f2.8 @ ISO 1600 will give you the same shutter speed as f5.6 @ ISO 6400. I shoot high school swimming with a Tamron 70-200 f2.8 and all indoor sports with an f2.8 or faster lens.
