Bamboo or Intuos Wacom tablet for photography editing???

    https://www.photo.net/discuss/threads/bamboo-or-intuos-wacom-tablet-for-photography-editing.307121/
This might not help but...I have both. I keep an Intuos 3 6x8 at home and LOVE it. Recently got the Bamboo for when I'm not home. It stays in my laptop bag so I know I have it when I need it. I got the version without the mouse since I don't use the mouse that came with the Intuos. Good luck!-Ilene

I regularly use both - the larger Intuos at my studio and the lighter Bamboo for when I'm working offsite - and I'd say you can feel the difference in the build quality; the Intuos pen and tablet itself feel nice and solid, while the Bamboo feels a little bit light and flimsy, but not by much.

If you want to try or you look for the very first tablet, then you should consider Bamboo. If you are sure that digital art is something you will do in future, then Intuos Art will be perfect for you.

    2. Both Bamboo and Intous4 are worth the money. If you're a serious designer/photographer/artist, get the Intous4. The Intous4 is very durable and reliable. It's always in my backpack when I travel. I dropped it a few times but it still works fine.

A tablet is definitely worth while for editing in Lightroom or Photoshop. The Intuos has finer resolution and more features than the Bamboo. You don't need to spend a fortune on the largest one. A 6x8 tablet is as large as you need if you are not drawing original art. Get the wired one over the wireless. It's just a single, USB2 cable.
