    Yes, it was changed from American to International Standards; maybe people use the terms interchangeably so you're seeing/reading both but ISO is more recent and what's used currently. I have vintage cameras that use ASA/DIN which was a German standard used when those cameras were made; they're all standard measurements of light sensitivity.
