    Lady Elizabeth Eastlake. Lady Elizabeth Eastlake, born Rigby, was active in scientific, literary and social circles in Edinburgh, and became a regular model for the photographers David Octavius Hill (1802-70) and Robert Adamson (1821-48), appearing in over twenty calotypes. One of these is believed to be the first photograph Prince Albert ever saw.
