    For night sky photography, the camera can’t tell the difference between faint stars and noise and the camera will detect faint stars in your image as noise and remove them. When shooting the Milky Way, faint stars are what give it its cloudy appearance. Using High ISO NR will basically kill your image. Don’t use it!
