    The D7500 has no grip option, and I find that to be a necessity for balancing the camera body with long lenses, whether it's handheld or on a gimbal. The 300mm PF is fine without the grip, even with a TC, but the Nikon 200-500 and its bigger sisters are much easier to handle with a gripped body.
