    The Survival Story of Jenny Wiley Jenny Sellards was born in 1760 in the state of Pennsylvania. At the age of about 19 she and her family moved to Walkers Creek Virginia (now known as Bland County Va.) In 1779 Jenny met a young man named Thomas Wiley. They fell in love and shortly after got married at Walker’s Cabin.
