The life of photographers during the Second World War

    In 1940, Capa and Taro traveled to New York City, United States. While in the United States, they learned that World War II had started. They decided to return to Europe to photograph the war. In 1944, Capa was on assignment in Normandy, France when he was killed by a German landmine. He was only 40 years old.
