    I do not have my own photography business, but I am an accountant. It's not so much a vs situation. You can still be an LLC and an S Corp at the same time. The LLC is the business type, where the S Election is just for tax purposes. If you elect to be an LLC and it is only one person, it will default to a sole proprietor.
