Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 25mm F1.2 PRO review

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 25mm F1.2 PRO Autofocus. Olympus has designed the 25mm f/1.2 so that focusing is achieved by driving a single thin lens element, and the result is remarkably quick autofocus for a large-aperture lens. The focus mechanism isn’t entirely silent, but you’ll only be aware of it in a very quiet room.

Are you happy with the 25mm f1.2 pro lens ?: Micro Four …

I’m a zoom-guy. But the M.Zuiko 25mm F/1,2 is my favourite prime lens. It’s the prime lens that I use by default. But I use it only at F/1,2 or F/2,0. Yes, at F/1,2, it is very soft on the edges but very sharp in the center. Once you know it, you can take advantage of that characteristic: https://jpmartel.com/blogue_2018/H3250154.jpg

Photography F-Stop Chart: Understanding F-Stops - Shotkit

    https://shotkit.com/f-stop-chart/
For example, f/2 refers to your lens aperture being half-open. F/4 refers to it being 1/4 of the way open. That means that if you’re using a 50mm lens, an aperture setting os f/2 would be a 25mm hole. In the same lens, f/4 would be 12.5mm, and so on. Don’t worry, you won’t have to calculate these numbers every time you go on a shoot.

Olympus 25mm f/1.2 vs f/1.8 - Digital Photography Review

    https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4095311
Dec 24, 2016. The Olympus 25mm f/1.8 is a highly regarded, sharp, fast prime lens from Olympus. The Olympus 25mm f/1.2 is supposed to be even better in terms of image quality, and is definitely faster, but also heavier and more expensive. Would the existence of the 25mm f/1.8 affect the sales of the f/1.2?
