    http://www.zirkel.com/studio/photography/widelux/index.html
Widelux photography. I've been doing panoramic photography since about 1992, when I first encountered a 35mm Widelux camera. I was immediately taken by the extreme perspective and shape of the image. It’s a great tool for highlighting an extraordinary subject, or for bringing a new perspective to something ordinary. ...

It can focus at any of seven settings, from infinity to 1 m. and it has shutter speeds of 1/8, 1/60 and 1/125 of a second.

I began photographing with the Widelux F7 in my South Brooklyn neighborhood. Boys and Vacant Lot, 13th Street, 1981. Girl with a bag of rice, 21st Street, 1980. As I became serious about being a photographer, I began making photographs every year of a Good Friday street procession at the Catholic church I went to as a boy.

Watch on. We are taking a look at a vintage panorama film camera – the Widelux 1500. One of the more well known of the Widelux family is the Widelux F series of 35mm cameras, which was their medium format version. It was designed by Panon Camera Company – that's Panon with a “P” - and released in 1987. The design is very similar to ...

As his acting career took off, he left photography behind — until he appeared in the 1976 remake of “King Kong,” in which he played an paleontologist who always carried a camera. That rekindled his interest, and after his wife bought him a Widelux, he brought it to the set of “Starman” in 1984.
